Laparoscopy

Laparoscopy

It is a minimally invasive surgical procedure where a laparoscope with light and a small camera helps the surgeon to examine the pelvic region to know the causes of female infertility. The surgery involves two or at times more minor insertions that are often done in the belly button. The surgeon due to this procedure can gauge the causes of infertility which might range from abnormalities of the uterus and ovaries to blocked Fallopian Tubes or fibrous tumours. To determine the cause of infertility, laparoscopy is the only option forward when other treatments have not meted out a conclusive diagnosis.
